Worship Ministry Goals
Raise Up Worship Leaders -- The principle of leadership that Jethro explained to Moses in Exodus 18:13 is still useful for us today. We want to raise up individuals to be worship leaders involved in all areas of our ministries, including Women's Ministry, Men's Ministry, Children's Ministry, Prison Ministry, as well as our Small Group Bible studies. The goal is to have someone in place who can lead worship at any of our meeting.
Multiple Worship Teams -- If we're going to raise up worship leaders, it only makes sense to raise up worship teams to accompany them. There are a variety of ways I see these teams being used. Some areas of use are mentioned above. However, I would also like to create multiple worship teams (each with its own leader) that would rotate leading worship for our Sunday Morning service.
Children's Choir/Children's Church Worship Team -- We believe it is important for the children to begin learning about worship at a level they can understand. To accomplish this goal we would like to assist the children's department in developing worship leaders as well as worship teams that are called to work with children.
Expand OneVoice Singers-- We would like to grow into multiple ensembles with leaders in each group. These groups, as they grow in experience and musical quality, would also be available to lead worship or otherwise sing at churches that have a need.
